ValueClick Media Review
ValueClick media is a well-established online ad network and one of the early pioneers of performance-based advertising. ValueClick media is a division of ValueClick, Inc, which is one of the world's largest online marketing companies owning big-name websites such as Commission Junction and Mediaplex. ValueClick media is one of over a hundred such programs we review on experienced-people.co.uk. ValueClick media supports an array of common ad types such as banners, skyscrapers, leaderboards etc as well as less typical interstitial, popunder and floating ads in both rich media and text/URL formats. Being part of a large corporation, ValueClick media features an impressive array of recognizable brand advertisers, including big names such as McDonalds, Ford and Coca-Cola. This results in a bustling ad inventory giving publishers a lot of freedom to perfect the ad campaign they run on their sites and keep their own inventories 100% full at all times. In the unlikely case that the fill rate is not 100%, ValueClick media offers publishers the ability to automatically redirect unsold ad space to other sources of paying ads; yes they are that confident! CPM rates are also decent and the overall profitability is reportedly good, especially in festive seasons when online purchases peak. Surprisingly, their huge, high-profile ad inventory comes with an unexpected downside as publishers who want to maximize their revenues will need to trawl through all the ad offers and filter out any that are not relevant and/or suitable for their websites. Thankfully their control tools are the best you can find for that job. So, as we said above, ValueClick media's control tools are great and their publisher support is equally impressive. ValueClick Media employs an advanced user interface and reporting system featuring every conceivable tool publishers may need to effectively manage their campaigns. ValueClick media's user interface and reporting tools couldn't have been better!
Unfortunately, even though their tech support is great and their control tools are arguably some of the best our Experienced-People.co.uk team has seen in the market, ValueClick media's official website itself is full of corporate burble and any useful information is really hard to come by. This translates into lots of information essential for publishers to make informed choices are missing from the web and it is also reflected in our Quick Facts list above too. Online reviews of ValueClick media are almost always positive, giving particular praise to the network's huge ad inventory and their decent CPM rates. They do have a reputation for being picky when it comes to accepting new publishers but this is to be expected since ValueClick media represents several high-profile advertisers. ValueClick media is undeniably a large and successful ad network; after all they serve more than 31 billion ads and reach more than 593 million unique visitors each month! Since they are backed by a powerful corporation and sponsoring numerous high-profile advertisers, their publishers will never run out of ads to display unless they over-filter or demand unreasonably high eCPMs. Even if that happens, ValueClick media will courteously allow you to display paying ads from other networks in their place instead. All in all, we can say that ValueClick media is a solid choice for publishers big and small.
