Technorati Media Review
Technorati Media is one of the largest social media advertising networks and is one of over a hundred such programs we review on experienced-people.co.uk. Technorati Media is the advertising arm of blog search engine giant Technorati.com. Technorati Media works exclusively with CPM commissions; all ads pay as long as they have been displayed. The CPM rates are average, though some small publishers report relatively low CPM rates from running Technorati Media ads on their websites. The network's ad inventory is huge and all their ads are suitable for any kind of blog Technorati itself might feature. The network supports multiple modern-looking ad types in several IAB-compliant sizes. Alongside typical banners, Technorati Media also serves video pre-roll ads, expandable ads, interstitial ads, sidebar sponsored skins and whole webpage background sponsored skins. It is not particularly hard to get accepted by Technorati Media. The minimum requirements are reasonably low (but purposefully vague) so even newbie publishers can join the network and start displaying CPM ads. However, it seems that Technorati Media prefers to be your sole provider of CPM ads as they will ask you to quote sufficient CPM rates for you to use Technorati Media as your primary ad network. Technorati Media tech support and FAQs are really good. The staff is polite and competent while there is ample documentation to help beginners set up the ads. The installation process is somewhat more complicated than average. However, after the ads are set up the whole system runs mostly hands-free, so installing the ads is a one-time hurdle. All in all, Technorati Media is a big and dependable ad network. Their CPM rates might not be extraordinary but their ad inventory is virtually bottomless and their support is solid. Under most circumstances, and as long as you are pulling in enough traffic, Technorati Media can be a good choice for monetizing your blogs with CPM ads.
