Leadbolt Review LeadBolt is an ad network that specializes in mobile ads and content lockers and is one of over a hundred such programs we review on experienced-people.co.uk. Their flagship product is content locking (or content unlocking, if you prefer) ads that restrict or block access to a website until certain conditions, such as filling a survey or watching an ad, have been met. LeadBolt’s content lockers work with either CPC or CPA commissions that pay generously. However, using content lockers almost always results in increased bounce rates, something detrimental for any other monetization method that runs alongside a content locker on a site. Regardless, many publishers report very good earnings and overall stable performance from LeadBolt. Apart from content lockers, LeadBolt has recently exploded on the mobile ads market, offering a bewildering array of ads suitable for smartphones including click-to-call ads, banner ads, video ads, interstitial ads, push notifications, capture forms, content lockers and custom app icons; almost every type of mobile ad conceivable, really! Moreover, LeadBolt offers premium ads for mobile apps. These ads are fully customizable and optimized to maximize earnings through apps; a great solution for publishers who develop their own mobile applications. LeadBolt’s ad inventory includes product offerings and is powered by advertisers from many different niches; though due to the nature of their ad units LeadBolt’s ads tend to be more straight-to-the-point and hard selling than the average ads of most other ad networks. In order to effectively implement LeadBolt ads, publishers, also called “web developers” throughout Leadbolt’s official website, need to have a moderate set of web skills as the whole program is not very newbie friendly. Regardless, their official website does an excellent job providing useful information to publishers, advertisers and app developers alike with separate sections for their web ads and mobile ads as well as lots of interactive demos and comprehensive videos to boot. However, their support is not easily reachable and this makes the problem even less newbie friendly. All in all, the whole program is geared towards experienced publishers and beginners will probably be hard-pressed to optimize LeadBolt’s ads on their websites. However, LeadBolt will arm experienced publishers with all the content locking solutions they will ever need for their regular traffic and a wide variety of mobile ads to monetize their mobile traffic.
