Batanga Review
Batanga is a sizable ad network that focuses on serving the U.S. Hispanic and Latin American markets and is one of over a hundred such programs we review on experienced-people.co.uk. In 2011, Batanga acquired Adfunky and I-Network, two Hispanic-focused online media networks, making Batanga the largest Latino/Hispanic focused ad network. The majority of Batanga's inventory is comprised of advertisements that target Latin American and US Hispanic audiences. Most of their ads have decent quality and pay average rates. The network's campaigns are traditional per-click (CPC) and per-thousand-impressions (CPM) campaigns with non-English ads also supported. Apart from regular banners, floating banners, video ads, wallpaper ads and pop-unders, Batanga supports various interesting ad types. Their crawler ads are floating banners that "crawl" from the bottom of the screen and stay there until they are clicked away. Their page push down ads are flash units comprised of two stages that appear from the top of the screen and push the main content downwards. Finally, their video interstitials are interstitial ads (they look more like full-page overlays though) that display video ads alongside static ads. Batanga offers publishers basic control tools and decent reporting tools. The network's support is good and their staff is multilingual; a big plus if you are targeting mixed audiences. In closing, their focus on Latino/Hispanic audiences means that Batanga can be seriously considered as a good choice to monetize websites that target Latin American and US Hispanic traffic with CPC and CPM advertisements.
