Advertising.com Review
Advertising.com is the ad-serving arm of AOL advertising which is the online advertising section of AOL Inc, a well-known internet and telecom media company. Advertising.com has been around since 1998 in one form or another and is one of over a hundred such programs we review on experienced-people.co.uk. Advertising.com sports a humongous ad inventory and serves ads in big numbers, namely 140 billion ad impressions per month. Even though they have this huge ad inventory, in case part of a publisher's inventory goes unused, Advertising.com supports easy and prompt in-house redirection to other (third-party) ad sources of the publisher's choice. All ads are served though ADTECH, AOL Advertising's ad serving platform. The network works mainly with CPC commissions but also supports CPA and CPM campaigns, depending on ad type. As far as ad types go, Advertising.com supports lots and lots of different ad units and types including clickable website wallpapers, pushdown ads, expandable banners, half-page video wall ads and more. They have clearly defined ad creative guidelines, but pretty much every ad format that falls within these guidelines is supported. Ads are published and managed via PubAccess, an easy-to-use, web-based tool that simplifies much of the implementation and control. In addition to the great PubAccess tool, Advertising.com offers publishers great reporting tools including the power to create custom reports on any statistics a publisher might be looking for. The custom reporting tools are described in detail in the video in this page. Support is equally good and prompt to respond while the network's official website(s) are jam-packed with comprehensive pages, accurate video presentations, interactive demos, support pages and generally everything you might ever want from an ad network's webpage. and more! To be honest (and we are amazed in ourselves saying that!) there seem to be too many sub-domains, too many different resource centers and too many separate service names and websites (for example, PubAccess and ADTECH have their very own domains) to an extend that inexperienced publishers may be confused while navigating through such an overabundance of info! Unsurprisingly, online reviews about Advertising.com are almost exclusively positive, praising virtually every aspect of the program. (Our own review could only complain about the overabundance of helpful pages after all!) Overall, Advertising.com is a big and really well-organized ad network with virtually no negative points to whine about! They handle all aspects of online advertising professionally and continue to innovate even though they have been around longer than most ad networks.
